When it comes to metronomes there’s really no better value out there than the Korg MA-30. Just a basic metronome will run you , so you’d be wise to spend the same amount of scratch on something that actually has a few useful features, like -
- 1-7 beats per measure.
- More than just a click, it will do triplets, 16th notes, broken triplets and 16ths, 8th notes, etc.
- a dozen pitches, for tuning.
- Very slim, fits easily in your pocket.
- Has a tab on the back that allows you to stand it upright.
- Usable visual indicator for when the metronome is silent.
- EXTREMELY efficient with batteries.
- And my favorite, tap-tempo. This allows you to tap a button and it will figure out the tempo.
I’ve owned this metronome for a couple years now and what has finally persuaded me to review it here on Amazon is the fact that this thing refuses to die! I swear mine is haunted. I play drums so I like to go from the headphone jack on the metronome into a little guitar amp I had laying around (so I can actually hear the thing while playing the drums). There have been more then a few occasions where I’ve turned off my amp but failed to turn off the metronome, leaving it running overnight, sometimes all weekend and on one occasion I left it on through a whole 3 day camping trip, only to come back and see it still ticking away… still using the ORIGINAL batteries I bought for it! It only uses a couple AAA batteries! I use this thing daily and I can’t believe I haven’t had to change the batteries yet, it’s incredibly efficient.
One of my favorite features is the tap-tempo. I like to do some recording so when my band mates and I get together it’s easy to figure out the tempo of our own music using this metronome, which makes recording in your favorite DAW a lot easier. Also, this is great for finding the tempo of your favorite songs if you like doing covers.
If you’re looking for a cheap metronome with some really useful functions then you don’t need to look any further. There are a few nit-picks, such as the volume is a little wonky when plugged into something like a guitar amp and there’s no backlight, but price/value wise it’s hard to beat this, so that’s why it deserves 5 stars.

This card is used in my Nikon D70, and its performance is OK. Although its speed rating is rated higher than my old Sandisk Ultra II, in actual use this does not seem the case.
This card lags a bit especially on start-up, but does not seem to slow much in actual use. No corruption problems, it formated easily, and the fit was good. No complaints overall, especially for the price!

I bought this primarily for motorcycle camping. That means size matters…and the smaller the size, the better. I’ve taken other styles of lantern along on previous trips, but they (especially the ones with a “traditional” looking lantern shape, wide and with a flanged cap at top) took up too much room and were hard to pack. They were also not the LED type, and they went through batteries quickly and tended to flicker and fade in a short time.
The MicroPacker is small, sturdy, easy to pack (as it’s name would suggest), and reliable. I’ve taken it on several trips this year and it serves it’s purpose well.
No, it’s not terribly bright. But it’s bright enough to read by, illuminate my tent, light up a tabletop, and to walk around with after dark.
A big plus with me is the fact that it requires “regular” batteries as opposed to a stack of tiny clock batteries, something that is becoming common these days. I avoid camping products that utilize battery types that aren’t readily available at say, any gas station mini-mart that I’m likely to come across while on the road.
If your main requirement is a very bright lite, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
But it you’re looking for a simple, small, affordable, and useful lantern, I’d recommend this one.

First of all keep in mind that these are cheap speakers. If you want great sound you are going to have to pay + for something this small to sound great.
Sound:
With that out of the way, I got these and have tried them on an old eMachine and my new MacBook Pro. They sound pretty good on both and are definitely louder than the built in speakers. We have watched DVDs on our computers and played games to test the sound, no problems.
Function:
Its pretty easy to set up and they volume knob on the front of the right speaker is really useful.
Build:
The build is definitely all plastic. The shiny disc on the speaker is not chrome but shiny plastic. The grey stand/legs are plastic. I only point that out because form the picture I couldn’t tell if any of it was metal, they definitely are not.
Looks:
I got it to match my Macbook Pro. Because they are all plastic they don’t quite match its aluminum body but its close enough.
Final:
For you can’t beat them.

I purchased this shoe based on the reviews, I was pleased with my purchase. It is a quality shoe that you get for a steal, originally it was a 100 dollar shoe. The leather is quality, the insole of the shoe is padded and it is well put together, the qauality is evident and what you see in hand is even better than the picture. My husband and I have been using these shower water filters for several years now. I had more trouble getting the old shower head off initially than installing the new system. (I’m 5′4″ so I needed a step stool to do this) Wrap the pipe fittings with Teflon tape. (be sure to wrap in a clockwise fashion). This will make it easier when it’s time to change out the filter. I don’t use the shower head that came with the unit. I use a hand held unit that I already had. The difference in our skin and hair is very noticeable. Hair is softer and our skin is not near so dry. An added bonus is that the shower walls and door do not get the film on them from all the minerals in the water (we have very hard water here). Sign up for emails on Aquasana’s website and you can almost always get 20% and free shipping. I didn’t sign us up for the water for life because we actually get more than 6 mos. out of our filter since it’s just the two of us. Tip- after you’ve got the water filter installed but before you put the shower head on, turn the water on, you will want to take a bucket to catch the water as it will be black from the carbon inside the filter. I had one of these for a few weeks but I returned it and purchased a Dewalt 18v drill/hammerdrill (DC925KA). The problem isn’t with the tool itself, that is why I gave it 5 stars. As fas a a small bodied cordless impact driver goes, this thing is awesome. Very well balanced and ever so light for an 18v tool. My thoughts are this is best suited for assembly or maybe taking things apart. Not for drilling holes. The downside, it is an impact driver, not a drill. The drills have speed controls and torque settings. The impact does not. Well, in a sense I guess they do but they are controlled thru the trigger, not a physical switch or dial. I had purchased the 3/8 inch keyless chuck for the impact and it worked nicely also. Once again though, this impact driver is not a drill. It does not have the features of a drill because it is a different type of tool. I was told that if I bought the impact I would never want another drill. Well, I proved that wrong. The drill is bigger and heavier BUT, it will handle a 1/2 inch drill bit. The impact and keyless chuck will not. It is 3/8″ as I stated earlier. They say the batteries last way longer on the impact driver. I do not know if this is true. When I returned the impact and told the store manager why he agreed with me. He has the same impact but he also has a drill. His words were “It really is hard if this is all you have”. Being that I am using this as a home owner type of tool and not on a job site I need something that is more universal than the impact. As I said though, if you need an impact driver, this thing is awesome. If I ever have the need for an impact this will be the one I go for, no question about it. Oh, one last thing. You cannot use this tool for lugnuts on your car. Once they are broken loose you can take them off with it and then run them back on with it. Any breaking loose and tightening MUST be done with a larger torque wrench or a lug wrench. Just figured I would throw that in as I have read some reviews where people were complaining because it wouldn’t work for that appliaction.

I was honestly hesitant to try this ink because it is literally 90% less than what I usually pay. I kept fearing someone telling me “You get what you pay for!” But the cost was so low that there was little to lose, so I went ahead and tried it out. I figured I spend more on coffee sometimes, so why not. Worse case, I just throw them away.
Well, so far, I am absolutely happy with these inks. They look slightly different from the OEM version, so at first, I thought “Oh No, they will not fit.” But, they did/do, and they have been providing great printouts ever since.
I have not owned these inks long enough to assess how much I pay per page compared to the Brother brand, but I figure at the price I pay that there is no way to lose.
