I personally love this product. I have been playing trumpet for 8 years and I use this on my current horn all the time. It is a normal oil so do not mix it with an synthetic oil like Blue Juice. There is a huge list of famous performers who use this product and if you haven’t used Al Cass, I would strongly suggest it over Yamaha, Bach, Clark Terry 44 and Jupiter valve oil. If you have extremely tight valves that normal valve oils just are too sluggish, try Clark Terry 44 or go synthetic.

I had one of these for a few weeks but I returned it and purchased a Dewalt 18v drill/hammerdrill (DC925KA). The problem isn’t with the tool itself, that is why I gave it 5 stars. As fas a a small bodied cordless impact driver goes, this thing is awesome. Very well balanced and ever so light for an 18v tool. My thoughts are this is best suited for assembly or maybe taking things apart. Not for drilling holes. The downside, it is an impact driver, not a drill. The drills have speed controls and torque settings. The impact does not. Well, in a sense I guess they do but they are controlled thru the trigger, not a physical switch or dial. I had purchased the 3/8 inch keyless chuck for the impact and it worked nicely also. Once again though, this impact driver is not a drill. It does not have the features of a drill because it is a different type of tool. I was told that if I bought the impact I would never want another drill. Well, I proved that wrong. The drill is bigger and heavier BUT, it will handle a 1/2 inch drill bit. The impact and keyless chuck will not. It is 3/8″ as I stated earlier. They say the batteries last way longer on the impact driver. I do not know if this is true. When I returned the impact and told the store manager why he agreed with me. He has the same impact but he also has a drill. His words were “It really is hard if this is all you have”. Being that I am using this as a home owner type of tool and not on a job site I need something that is more universal than the impact. As I said though, if you need an impact driver, this thing is awesome. If I ever have the need for an impact this will be the one I go for, no question about it. Oh, one last thing. You cannot use this tool for lugnuts on your car. Once they are broken loose you can take them off with it and then run them back on with it. Any breaking loose and tightening MUST be done with a larger torque wrench or a lug wrench. Just figured I would throw that in as I have read some reviews where people were complaining because it wouldn’t work for that appliaction.

This impact drive bit set includes a great assortment of bits. I’ve put several through their paces and they are holding up fine. The variety of attachments is great. I especially like the socket attachments and the long bits. My only complaint is the case. The small clips that hold the bits in place are weak and don’t operate that well. Also, the clasp on the outside of the case to hold the two halves together often gets stuck between the two covers when trying to close the case. A little wiggling will overcome this, but things like this typically get worse over time. Overall, a very good product and well worth it if you exchange bits often.

I felt awkward playing this game at first. The controls were uncomfortable and the gameplay felt like an uninspired Soul Calibur rip-off. I honestly didn’t think I’d keep it. But something kept me playing; maybe it was the cheesy but stylish graphics, or the over-the-top special moves; or maybe it was the novelty of having a fighting game with Castlevania characters. But despite ending my first session with a grimaced face, I came back every few days or so to try and figure out why it was still in my collection. After about a half-dozen sessions, I got into ‘the groove’ and started enjoying the game.
You can either use the Wiimote with nunchuck or GC controller. Personally, I found the best control scheme came from using a PS2 controller via an adapter. Although when I use the Wiimote with nunchuck I feel more involved with the game and it feels more action-packed, my effectiveness declines due to the placement of buttons and limited control schemes available thru the options menu.
One strange thing about this game is that it doesn’t automatically make you face your opponent; you can turn your back to them, run away, miss attacks due to being just a degree off, etc. It certainly made things a bit more difficult.
This isn’t pick-up-and-play type game. To extract any level of enjoyment, you will probably need to go thru the training mode and manual. Not that it’s necessarily a difficult game; it’s just that the controls are quite awkward and very different from traditional fighting games and take some getting used to.
‘Judgment’ is not by any means a groundbreaking game. Compared to contemporary fighters, it is quite average and bland. But if you are a fan of retro games and don’t mind 6th gen-type graphics, give CJ some time and you will most likely enjoy it at some level.

I was a little skeptical after reading some reviews of the infant insert, but I decided to try it out anyway. I have used the Bjorn and various maya type slings, and this is by far the most comfortable carrier. I’m prone to plugged ducts and mastitis, and this carrier with the insert puts no pressure on my chest, so it’s great in that regard.
I started using the infant insert when my newest was almost 3 weeks old. It was a little hard to figure out where her feet and legs go at first, and she was really uncomfortable when I tried to splay them out and have her feet poke out the sides. That’s definitely not the way to do it with such a little baby. I found that the trick is to have her knees up following the line of the fabric just along the inside of the padding and her feet almost touching and down at the V shaped base. You may think they’re getting squished but she doesn’t complain at all so it must be comfortable for her.
I also couldn’t figure out whether she was supposed to have her head resting on the top edge, kind of sitting away from my body or resting on my chest. She took care of that for me. When she’s awake her head is up and she’s peering around. When she gets tired she puts her head down on my chest and rests very comfortably.
The hotness factor was also something I read about. My daughter was born in mid June and we live in Maryland, where it’s pretty hot and humid in the summer. Yes, the insert is hot. But so is the Bjorn, and so are slings. I just put her in a onesie and we’re both a little damp on the chest when she comes out. No big deal, really. I think the pros outweigh the one con that it’s hot.
So it does take a little fiddling to get it just right, but once you do it’s super comfortable for you as the wearer, and a nice little nest for the baby to ride around in. I definitely recommend it!

Not long ago a friend gave me an extra DeWalt 18 volt drill he’d come into. I’d been using a 12 volt Makita for over a decade, and I was amazed at how much more torque and battery life the DeWalt had. The same friend also had a DeWalt impact driver from the same series, and again, I was impressed how well this handled mechanical tasks usually relegated to a pneumatic impact driver. But even more impressive was how well the DeWalt worked for driving screws.
A few years ago, the major cordless tool makers started to come out with impact drivers which they marketed not to mechanics, but to carpenters. While today’s 18volt cordless drills do a pretty good job of driving screws, they still start to bog down when driving really long screws into hard or resinous wood. The slow, stall, and eventually overheat. But impact drivers don’t do this. They work on a different principle, using a motor-driven hammer to repeatedly strike an anvil that drives the output shaft. As the load increases, they switch from spinning to a rapid-fire staccato impact mode, in which every impact turns the screw a bit farther, while the motor continues to spin and bring in cooling air.
I was very pleased to discover that Amazon had a DeWalt impact driver available in a batteryless and caseless package (for those of us who already have a charger and several batteries) for about 5. I purchased mine for a mix of yard projects- this is a great tool for driving the big screws used to tie landscape timbers together- home projects, and motorcycle/scooter maintenance. And amazingly, it’s even lighter and more compact than the DEWALT DC759KA Heavy-Duty 18-Volt Ni-Cad 1/2-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit. I’m giving away my Makita 12v drill/driver to a nephew who likes tools and gadgets, and switching 100% to the DeWalt system.
